Mr Jack S Cookson - Senior Partner has been with the Firm for over 30 years. He deals with both Residential and Commercial conveyancing Probate and Trust work and the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney. He was until recently also Clerk to the Commissioners of Income Tax for Haywards Heath District and, until it merged with the Yorkshire Building Society, a non executive Director of Haywards Heath Building Society. He is currently Clerk to the Trustees of the James Bradford Almshouses.
Mr Anthony G McGowan - Partner has been with the Firm since 2004. He deals with Residential and Commercial Conveyancing and Probate and Trust Work. He also acts in the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney.
Pat Major F.Inst. L. Ex - is a Legal Executive with over 30 years experience in Residential Conveyancing. She has an extensive knowledge of freehold And leasehold property law.
David Barker - was formerly Manager of Lloyds TSB Bank Haywards Heath and is very well known in the locality. Since joining Waugh & Co he has specialised in Probate Wills and the administration of Estates and Trusts. He also deals extensively in the management of elderly Clients affairs and Enduring Powers of Attorney.
Lyn Bliss - Probate Executive is a valuable Member of our Probate and Trusts department. She has experience in relation to all aspects of the administration of estates and Inheritance Tax.
Christian Cookson BA MA PgDl (Law) - Is the son of the Senior Partner and is currently undertaking his training contract with the firm. After completing his Batchelor and Masters Degrees Christian studied Law at Guildford Law School. He is currently undertaking both Property and Private Client Probate work including the preparation of Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection applications.
Jeff Bliss - is a Legal Cashier with responsibility for all aspects of the Firm's accounting and archiving systems. Prior to joining the Firm he was with National Westminster Bank PLC.
Ed Griffin - is also a Legal Cashier with ancillary responsibilities as Practice Manager. Prior to joining the Firm she was formerly with Lloyds TSB Bank Plc.
